PLAYING INTERNET RADIO STREAMS
Probably the most popular use of MxO Radio is the ability to listen to live Internet radio broadcast streams. Again, the /radio play slash command is used; however, now you're pointing towards an Internet address instead of a file or playlist (be sure to include the "http://" prefix).

ADDING TO YOUR FAVORITES LISTMxO Radio also supports a Favorites List so you don't have to worry about slash commands. You can just open up the list and make your selection:

To get entries into your Favorites List, use the
/radio addfave FavoriteName|PathOrURL slash command. That is, enter /radio addfave followed by a name for your favorite (e.g., Trance), followed by the "pipe" character (normally found above your Enter key on your keyboard), followed by the filepath or URL to the playlist or radio site.
An alternate method is to manually edit (using Notepad) the text file which stores your favorites. The file is called
mpfavorites.txt and is found in your MxO installation directory (which for most players will be
\Program Files\Monolith Productions\The Matrix Online\ ). If the file isn't there yet, you can manually create it.
That file simply needs to contain each of your desired files, playlists, and/or URLs on separate lines:

(NOTE: In the image above, the favorites were added WITHOUT a "name", so the full URLs showup in the Favorites list. However, even when editing this file, you have the option of putting a name before the URL or path. Just make sure you've got the "pipe" character between the name and the URL/path.)
Some folks have had difficulty in getting MxO Radio to recognize their favorite selections in-game (they can click on them, but nothing happens). One possible workaround is to put an extra blank line between the entries; this seems to help in some situations.
