Auction

You can auction your items to players by using the Auction Contract. This Contract will allow players to bid on your item or buy it out. Setting up an Auction:

You can exchange items by using the Item exchange contract. Here you can ask to directly trade an item for another.

• Open the Contracts Interface and click on the Create Contract button. Image 1
• Select an Auction and Availability. Image 2
• Select an item you want to auction. Image 3
• Set the starting bid (optional) and the buyout (optional), set how long you want the Auction to run, and then give it a helpful description. Image 4
• Review the terms of the Contract, make sure everything is to your satisfaction, and then click Finish. Image 5

Item Exchange

You can exchange items by using the Item Exchange Contract. Here you can ask to directly trade an item for another, sell the item or buy it.

Setting up a Sell Contract

• Select Item Exchange, and the Availability.
• Select an Item you want to sell. Image 3
• Enter in the amount of ISK you want to receive for the item, set the amount of time the Contract will be open, and give it a helpful description. Image 6
• Review the terms of the Contract, make sure everything is to your satisfaction, and then click Finish. Image 7

Setting up a Buy Contract

• Select Item Exchange, and the Availability.
• Do not select an item.
• Enter the amount of ISK you are willing to pay for the item you want. Type in the name of the item you're looking to trade for and find it on the list. Enter a quantity, and add it to your items by clicking Add Item. Image 8
• Review the terms of the contract, make sure everything is to your satisfaction, and then click Finish. Image 9

Setting up a Trade Contract

• Select Item Exchange, and the Availability.
• Select an Item you want to trade. Image 3
• Enter in the amount of ISK you are willing to pay or receive for your item. Type in the name of the item you're looking to trade for and find it on the list. Add it to your items by clicking Add Item. Image 10
• Review the terms of the contract, make sure everything is to your satisfaction, and then click Finish. Image 11

Courier

If you wish to have an item moved between locations, you can set up a Courier Contract. Here, another player, upon accepting the contract, will transfer the item between the locations. Upon completion, he or she will be awarded the ISK you offered and the item will be placed in your hangar.

• Select Courier, and the Availability.
• Select an Item(s) you want moved. Image 12
• Enter the destination of the item. Enter a reward for the service, as well as the value of the item(s) as collateral. Enter an expiration date and the number of days in which the mission should be completed. Add a helpful description and click Next. Image 13
• Review the terms of the Contract, make sure everything is to your satisfaction, and then click Finish. Image 14

Loan

The Loan Contract can only be drawn up in private directly with other players or corporations. Here you can loan items or ISK to other players with collateral.

• Select Loan, and enter a character name, your corporation, or alliance.
• Select an item to be loaned out. (Note: remove charges from ships if you're loaning ships.)
• Enter a price for the loan, Collateral if required (a good idea for ships), and any amount of ISK that you are including. Enter an expiration date for claiming the loan, and a period of time in which the loan must be repaid or the items returned. Give it a helpful description and click Next. Image 15
• Review the terms of the Contract, make sure everything is to your satisfaction, and then click Finish. Image 16

Basic Usage

Once you have decided on which Contract you wish to use, you need to select some basic options. These can be length in days, items you wish to receive or give away, collateral and award, location, etc. Once you have input all the necessary information, your contract will be shuffled into the list and available for others to find and claim.

• Select Region and a type of Contract you want to see (the default is All). Image 17
• If desired, enter a price range or click Only Affordable. Image 18
• Click the Show More Options arrow if you're looking for something specific.
• Filter by who issued the Contract, or who did not issue it, the title and, most importantly, the item!
• Enter in the item you're looking for; if you don't know the full name you can pick it from a list that is generated from what you have typed. Image 19
• Once you have selected the item you're looking for, the results will be returned for the range in which you're looking.

Skills

There are two skills related to contracts: Contracting and Corporation Contracting. These affect how many contracts you can issue by yourself, or on behalf of your corporation, respectively.

Contract Scams

Contract Scams are contracts which are setup with the sole purpose of misleading the intended item purchaser or person undertaking the contract. There are two kind of contract scams.

• Item Contract scams are mainly scams in which the item offered in the contract does not match the item promised in the description. A popular item contract scam includes those which provide normal (Meta Level 1) item (e.g. Raven) while offering Faction or higher Meta Level items (e.g. Navy Raven).
• Courier Contract scams typically involve putting up courier contracts which are difficult or impossible to fulfill (e.g. End station requires docking right, etc). The item in the contract is typically worthless while the collateral asked is high. This will prevent the contract from being successfully completed and causing the contract undertaker to loose his/her collateral
