<>2.1-Introduction<>

Here's my guide on how to make the popular firewall/thunderstorm
sorceress for Diablo II:Lord Of Destruction.

<>2.2-Stats<>

Now to split your stat points on a level-to-level basis. This is a very
simple stat point split which only changes once in your sorceress life
time, once she gets what I think is enough strength. Every level you
should put 2 points into strength, 1 into vitality and 2 into energy
until you have 103 strength. Once you have 103 strength put 2 points
into vitality and 3 points into energy.

<>2.3-Skills<>

NOTE: Follow this chart exactly and don't even get a move not in this
chart, not even if you need one. Just remember it'll all be worth it
near level 40 (The level I think things get interesting at). Now the
tricky part, skill points. This chart explains how to split your skill
points. Also you should put all reward skill points into Thunderstorm
because my skill point split won't have enough points to max
Thunderstorm with the skill points you every level.

<>2.4-Equipment<>

Your sorceress is going to need:

-A good orb. The Oculus Swirling Crystal is cool but is too
expensive trading wise for most people to get (I got mine for 2
sojs and Tal Rasha's Lidless Eye Orb). For those who don't know
the 1.09 The  Oculus Swirling Crystal is the unique +3 to all
Sorceress skills, it also has 50 magic find and like +20 to energy
and much, much more... If you can't afford The Oculus try to find an
orb with +1 or +2 to sorceress skills.
-Sigons Guard Tower Shield or Lidless Grim Shield. These shields have
+1 to all skills and more. It should be socketed with a perfect
diamond so it gets resists (like 19% to all resists).
-A good armor. Skin Of The Vipermagi, Goldskin, Duriel's Shell
Cuirass, Skin Of The Flayed One and of course Silks Of The Victor
Ancient Armor are all great but I really like Duriel's Shell Cuirass
and Silks Of The Victor Ancient Armor.
-Magefist Light Gauntlets. They are perfect for a firewall sorceress.
+1 to Fire Skills, fastest cast rate, Regenerate Mana 15%.
-A good helm. A 2 socket grim helm is perfect for Lore, a good
runeword that can be made with any 2-socket helm and Ort+Sol. Lore
has +10 to Energy, +1 to all skills.
-Fast boots. Get some Sanders Rip Rap, Natalya's Soul, Infernostride,
Vidala's Fetlock, or Aldurs Advance.

<>2.5-Other<>

Mercenary: You should get an Act 2 Offensive merc or an Act 5 merc.
The Act 2 Offensive mercs are the games strongest merc offensively
while the Act 5 mercs tend to be more defensive. You choose.
Whichever merc you choose try to equip them with life leech since
they have unlimited mana making mana leech useless. A good equip
for your merc once he's at least level 39 is: The Undead Crown Crown
(No I didn't make a typo, that's the name) The Impaler War Spear and
an armor with more than 200 def. I gave him Skin Of The Vipermagi
once I could use Duriel's Shell Cuirass.
