Priest/Oracle:

You task is also simple and straight forward: keep your team alive...BUT, focus on the puller. Everyone else can die first, but not the puller. The puller's demise will usually result in leaving behind more corpses by your team. Also remember to keep your tank at best condition by using dispels and etc.

What you should do is pretty straight forward, thus I don't think there's anything I need to say. The last thing you need to know other than your spell, is the same RULES OF THUMB #2 of the mage/pagan.


Fighter/Warrior
Hunter/Archers
Assassin/Rangers:

Your TOP PRIORITY is to make sure no monster is interrupting the casters. Mages can't deal damage, and Healers can't heal if they got monster interrupting them.
You should do some high damaging skill on the monsters interrupting the casters, so that those monsters will switch target to you instead as soon as possible.
After you got the monster's attention (thus saving the casters), MOVE to the puller, DO NOT stand there fighting the monster alone. This is so that all monsters are pulled into the AoE skill damage area, and guardian's AoE taunt will make sure the monster will not go to the casters again.

If everything goes well: all monsters are on the puller, all casters are not disturbed, then jump into the center of monsters and do your AoE spins/skills, help killing monsters.

For assassin, remember that you have the skill that boosts runspeed, use that only under proper situation as I described above.


B) Party positioning

Simple:
1) Don't stay around the puller if the monsters do AoE skills. Especially for casters, your spell is easily interrupted (even 1 damage or a simple debuff).
2) Don't rest at the spawning place of monsters. Yea, you just cleared the room, but unless you are sure that the spawning is already done before you start clearing it, just don't rest there. There's plenty other places to rest.
3) Don't spread-out too much, it's harder to take care of each other when everyone is spreading out, and you risk attract unnecessary monsters.


C) Party leader

Mages and guardians should never be leader, if possible. Leader is important because in case your party member dies, there's where they spawn...Party leader should be carefully selected especially in PvP maps.

Melee classes (probably except assassin, coz they are good at running away) should avoid to be leader because they engage in melee combat, and risks big aoe spells around them. Imagine a pagan respawn at melee range of enemy...it's just another extra easy kill.

Healer, hunter can be good choice whether if it is in pvp.
For pve maps, any other class other than puller and mages should be fine.


D) Party Composition

Now that we know what is each class's role, we will know how to make an effective aoe leveling party.

The smallest unit of an AoE-leveling party is:
- 1 Puller
- 1 AoEer

Such party usually consists of 1 Guardian/Defender + 1 Mage/Pagan.
This party usually hunts Green or Yellow monsters in normal map, or Green or lesser monsters in dungeons. You might get better exp than bigger parties, and it's easier to coordinate.


Next, the typical aoe-leveling party in dungeons:
- 1 puller
- 2 to 4 AoEer (depends on the monsters' difficulty and mana-usage)
- 1 to 2 healer (depends on the monsters' difficulty and tanker's tanking ability)
- 1 to 2 fighter/hunter/assasin to take care of the casters, buff, or help damaging.

If I am in non-pvp map, I would prefer a smaller party such as this:
- 1 puller
- 2 to 3 AoEer (depends on monsters' difficulty...but I never feel the need of more than 3 decent AoEers. 1 is too few, 2 decent ones are perfect, 3 can be nice...4 is too much)
- 1 healer
- 1 fighter/hunter
This party will ensure best leveling speed.


If I am in a pvp map, then I would prefer a party such as this:
- 1 guardian
- 2 to 3 AoEer
- 1 healer
- 1 assasin
- 1 fighter or hunter
but then, it really depends on the level of pvp map, the skills the guardian has (higher level guardians have skills that can protect party members) and a lot of other factors (mainly level, build and skills your party members have). But at least, if you are trying to LEVEL in a pvp map, then:
1 guardian
2 AoEer
1 healer
is the minimum requirement, the best choices for the rest of the team members is very debatable.


E) Epilogue
