Where in the real life world do you live? Germany, near Salzburg.

How long have you played Star Wars Galaxies? I started SWG in October 2003. My first toon was on Gorath. With the start of the European servers I started a new toon there.

What other MMOs have you played? Plenty of them. I started with Ultima Online, and played EverQuest, EverQuest II, Dark Age of Camelot, EVE Online, and Vanguard.

What type of work do you do? I'm working as an advertising specialist for a German premium car manufacturer.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars Galaxies? I play about 3 - 4 hours a day during the week. On the weekends I spend most of my time with my wife and my three children, so there is only time for a few short logins to check mails.

What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you? When I'm at work I am usually on my main fan site. I moderate the main German fan forum so there is enough of SWG work to do for me during the day. When I log into the game in the evening I check my mails and see if someone of my mates need help. I like to hang around in cantinas and roam around SF in the cities, looking for a good one on one. When I'm able to get a heroics group, I'm in for it.

W hat was the species and profession of your very first character? I started as a Zabrak and went Master Smuggler.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I started with the Game Boy and had all consoles, like Nintendo, PlayStation, Mega Drive and so on. I switched over to PC games with a cool game called X-wing. I love Star Wars games and I played every single game that came out for PCs. With Ultima Online I fell in love with MMOs, so the only game I play today is SWG.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than playing Star Wars Galaxies? When I'm not active in SWG I play basketball and I also coach little kids in football. They are 6 - 8 years old and it's always great fun. I also read every Star Wars and Star Trek book I can get into my hands.

What is your highest character level in Star Wars Galaxies? 90.

What species and profession is your main character? Zabrak, Master Elder Smuggler.

What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? It's a smuggler. What should I say? It's style. It's skill. It's a smuggler. Beer and pie anyone?

What faction is your main character? Rebel.

What is your favorite player owned ship? My Advanced X-wing. It always brings me memories of the original X-wing game.

What is your favorite ground vehicle? The original BARC Speeder. Great!

How did you choose your main character's name? There was a button which was called "Generate Name". I think I hit that one. Since that day I use my name on every fan site as my forum handle.

What is your favorite expansion? Rage of the Wookiees! It's Star Wars-y. I like the design of the planet and I also like the quests and stories there.

What is your favorite planet? I like Rori the most but I can't tell you a reason for it. Most likely because of the Nabooian house style.

What is your favorite NPC? Darth Vader. I love to hear his breath. It's like you are in the movie.

What are the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? Don't know exactly, but I think I spent 20 million for a BARC a long time ago.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? Yeah, there is my Old Republic Lightsaber that I gained from my first Sher Kar run. I went Jedi for a while after that.

What do you like best about Star Wars Galaxies? I love the community. I'm on a great server with very, very helpful people. We survived the rollback. We stood together that time and we stand together until now. It's great. And we are growing. Of course my guild mates play a big role in that too.

Describe your best experience playing Star Wars Galaxies. That's very hard to say. I've had a lot of great moments in this game. If I had to pick one I would say it was the moment I hit the Create Character button for the very first time. The Star Wars theme droned in my room and there was this big Star Destroyer in the middle of my screen. Heck yeah! I'm going to play my very own Star Wars saga.
