The Secrets of Bahamas Swamp
I was watching Scary Movies 4 the other day on cable TV when it occurred to me how movie spoofs were so the 'in' thing these days.
And so, it's not long before you, young Skywalker wannabe are sent on a quest in Granado Espada to track down Yoda wannabe Fritz who is rumored to be last seen in an unexplored territory, Bahamas Swamp...
Yoda-Wannabe Fritz says, "Fear is the path to the dark side."
The Inhabitants of Bahamas Swamp
Bahamas swamp is located directly above Ustiur (otherwise known as Jurassic Park wannabe). It is an important strategic location for pioneers pioneering the western continent. However, it is very difficult to enter the area since many powerful monsters reside there. Hence, many pioneers had already given up on exploring the area. Likewise, the Office of Pioneering Support was at its wits end and had decided to stop exploring the Bahama Swamps until further notice. The Queen of Vespanola thus decided to send the Baron Igorni to take control of Project: Bahamas Exploration.

Much to Baron Igorni's fury, his plans to civilize the untamed swamps of the Bahamas are thwarted by its resident witches, Leonora Rose and Sierra Rose. This mother and daughter tact team are bent on protecting the swamp and its secrets.

I would go so far as to say Bahamas Swamp is the most important series of maps in Granado Espada at this point in time - which is probably why the Queen of Vespanola is extremely desperate to explore this territory. After all, the most unconquered territory would have some of the most powerful weapons and armors buried within.
Level 100 Elite weapons (30 ATK Rating) drop throughout the maps of Bahamas Swamp including the Underground Cave. For example, The Black Dragon (Level 100 Elite Rifle) will drop in The Swamp of Peril while Vampiric Edge will drop in the Bahamas Marshlands.
Level 100 Unique armors (27 DEF Rating) can also be found throughout the maps of Bahamas Swamp including the Underground Cave. For example, Robe of Sky Daemon can be found at Bahama Marshlands while Le Blanc can be found at Bahamas Underground Cave 1st Floor etc.
This is bearing in mind that the current best weapon and armor in-game that exist are 34 ATK Rating and 32 DEF Rating - so you can imagine how important the Bahamas Swamps are!
Bosses… Gotta conquer them all!
The Mini boss for Bahama Marshlands is the Swamp Spider Crab Leader while the mini boss for Bahama Swamp of Eternity is the Escudo Prefer Leader.
Take care to note that the most important mini boss, Swamp Frogfish, spawns randomly around the map of Bahama Swamp of Darkness and Bahama Swamp of Peril. This dude is REALLY important since it drops an all-important albeit extremely rare recipe, Dragon Heart, which is used to craft Level 100 elite weapons (32 ATK Rating). I can only imagine the number of people who will be camping this boss once Bahamas Swamps is released!

Now here's a guy that reminds me of that evil boss from that movie, Army of Darkness. Helloooo King of Greed! He spawns randomly around the map of Bahama Underground Cave 1st Floor and more importantly, drops the best shield in the game, Phantom Guard, which has the highest block rate among all the shields in the game and comes with 2 DEF Rating built-in instead of the usual 1 DEF Rating which is the norm for all other shields.

Where Is That Elusive Cave Entrance?
It isn't on the map. But you know it exists!
How on earth does one get to Bahama Underground Cave?
Look around carefully and you will notice circles of light on the floor on certain maps. These circles of light will teleport you to a random location in the Bahamas Swamp. If Lady Luck is shining upon you, she just might teleport you into Bahama Underground Cave.
Upon arriving in Bahama Underground Cave 1st Floor, you'll notice that the map is spilt into 2 parts - East and West, but once again, there is still no entrance to the second level in the middle!
How does one get to the middle?
Here's the secret - look for the King of Greed which spawns at both sides of the map, defeat him and voila! The portal to the second level is opened. However, take note that when you kill the King of Greed on the left side of map, the portal to the second level will be opened on the right side of map! Hence team work is essential to advance to the second level.
Meet the Raid Boss - Uraeus!
Big, Bad, Raid Boss, Uraeus, can be found in the middle of the lake at Bahama Underground Cave 2nd Floor lying silently beneath the waters, awaiting those who dare awaken him. How does one awaken him? Simple. Search and destroy his offspring - the eggs of Uraeus and a very enraged daddykins will be out for blood... your blood!

Uraeus will ascend from his slumber in the deep waters and attack you once all the eggs are destroyed.
Enraged Uraeus is out for blood!
However, once his Health Points (HP) reaches dangerously low, Uraeus will disappear into the water and all the eggs will respawn, requiring your egg-smashing services again.
Uh oh... this ain't no friendly Water Horse...
This process will need to be repeated 3 times before Uraeus appears for the 4th time, which is his final form. When he finally dies, a warp portal will be opened for the person who does the most damage to him. This hero will be teleported to a deserted island where a treasure chest in his name begets precious loot.
Charmed... by the Witches of Bahamas
Leonara and Sierra Rose are more than just witches bent on territorial control. Their magic is powerful enough to brew up Level 100 weapon recipes (32 ATK Rating)! Some of these recipes include the Legendary Chess and Serpent Series. Naturally, you would need to complete their quests before they willingly impart their home-made recipes to you.
Bahamas Swamp opens on 17 April 2008, Thursday. Have fun exploring and may the force be with you!
