Many people just like you are eager to enter the depths of Mirkwood and explore the new content, engaging new quests and exciting new levels. Because of this, certain servers will from time to time reach the maximum amount of allowed players which will cause server queues.
If you wish to avoid server queues then consider playing one of our less populated servers, a list of <a href="" http: community.codemasters.com forum showthread.php?t='203654""'>suggested servers</a> can be found here.

All players will be required to apply a patch to their game clients to access Siege of Mirkwood.

Players have two options when patching to Siege of Mirkwood. You can either patch up via the launcher (download speeds may vary) or you can download our newly released <a href="http://community.lotro-europe.com/standalone_patches.php?pagename=downloads" target=_blank>Siege of Mirkwood Standalone patch</a>. There is one standalone patch which is approximately 1.1GB.

The increased level cap to 65 is only applicable to those who have purchased Siege of Mirkwood. If you are level 60 and not receiving any more experience points, you likely haven't yet upgraded to Siege of Mirkwood.

What are the restrictions on entering Mirkwood?

In order to enter the region of Mirkwood you must have the Mines of Moria expansion and the Siege of Mirkwood digital expansion. It is also recommended before entering the region of Mirkwood you are level 60+ as Mirkwood is a dangerous place.
